Main duties of the job About you You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Learning Disability Nurse on commencement in post. You will bring to the role: knowledge and understanding of current learning disability practice and the role of a multi-disciplinary team, including statutory and voluntary agencies skills in effective assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of work in supporting people with learning disabilities ability to build good working relationships with professional colleagues and partners and engage positively with individuals, families and carers experience of using a person-centred, holistic approach and creativity in problem solving and reflective practice techniques About us As a Nurse Care Manager youll thrive on enabling adults with learning disabilities to realise their potential and live life to the full.
