The Role: I'm keen to speak with a Construction Manager to oversee the development and delivery of EPC activities, ensuring key targets of time, cost, quality, and HSE are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive civil and electrical experience, be well-versed in site construction management and execution, and familiar with NEC4 forms of contract. Experience with early works and interaction with design, engineering, and constructability is essential. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize Safety, Health & Environmental protection throughout all construction activities. Lead the project HSE Team to manage HSE activities during construction and commissioning phases. Act as the Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations. Manage construction hazards throughout the project. Implement quality systems for controlling construction information. Identify and manage key construction risks to minimize their impact. Lead the construction team to successfully deliver project requirements. Liaise with key customer plant personnel to ensure the construction plan aligns with current standards and local requirements. Provide construction support for commissioning. Define the construction estimate and manage expenditure within the agreed budget. Ensure construction meets quality standards supported by agreed test requirements. Keep the Project Manager and other project management resources informed of progress and issues. Experience & Qualifications: Extensive experience in EPC contracts (Civil & Construction). Proven ability to manage budgets and financial controls. Subcontractor management experience. HND/C in a relevant discipline. Accredited CSCS. SCO 91 certified. APMP accreditation (desirable). NEC4 Accredited Project Manager (desirable).
