Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Epping Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions Provide outreach support to students in need of additional assistance Create tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs Monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist subject knowledge in English and Maths at GCSE level Experience in delivering effective tutoring or teaching sessions Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring English and Maths at GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a learners home or community settings May require travel within the East of England region All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
