The Department of Biology at Widener University seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning in August 2025. Applicants should be broadly trained in molecular and cellular biology. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory biology courses for biology majors and upper-level courses in developmental biology and in the area of the candidate’s specialty. Candidates must have a high potential for undergraduate teaching and are expected to engage undergraduates in an active research program. Laboratory space is available in our modern biology facilities. The successful candidate must have completed a Ph.D. by May 2024, although 1-2 years postdoctoral experience is strongly preferred.
