We are currently recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a one-form entry primary school near Evesham. The designated child that you will be working with is a Year 1 child with Autism and ADHD. The child needs consistency, so the right candidate must be committed to a long-term post.
The successful applicant would need to have previous experience of working with children with SEN. You will be supporting a child in a reception class with a hearing impairment. The school is looking for candidates who are willing to commit to a long-term position to ensure consistency for the child.
This role is due to start in October until the end of the academic year.
Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Experience of supporting those with SEN
* Committed to a long-term role
* Highly motivated to improve outcomes for children
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a secure understanding of phonics and early reading or willing to train
