This rotational post is a great opportunity for a new or existing Band 5 to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position that will provide you with the opportunity to develop skills within 4 highly specialist areas:
1. Hands and Plastics
2. Burns, Plastics and Head and Neck
3. MSK
4. Neurological Outpatients and Community
Applicants must be able to attend in person for a face-to-face interview. It will not be possible to arrange a virtual interview.
Main duties of the job
You will assess and treat a caseload of patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings in order to maximise patient recovery and function. You will attend handover meetings, in-service training, and MDT meetings.
You must have excellent clinical skills, be proactive and self-motivated, but most importantly have a passion for maintaining high standards of care for our patients.

Job responsibilities
To provide a high standard of physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
To assess, diagnose, plan, and deliver individualised treatment programmes. To hold responsibility for a caseload, mostly working without direct supervision.
To participate in the on-call physiotherapy service, for which you will receive training prior to competency confirmation.
To participate in the supervision, education, and assessment of the performance of therapy work experience/students, to a graduate standard and feedback to the senior member of staff.
To participate in the team's development, training, audit, and research programme.
To ensure the maintenance of a high standard of service provision, maximising patient recovery and function and developing the quality of the service.
