This is a very exciting opportunity to support our Maternal Mental Health Services that are part of the Community Perinatal Umbrella Services. The Maternal Mental Health Service (MMHS) aims to integrate maternity, reproductive health, and psychological therapy locally in Norfolk and Waveney for women who have experienced trauma and loss in the perinatal period (including the removal of babies by children’s services) and who are not eligible for specialist perinatal mental health services.
The Community Team Manager will collaborate with key partners and stakeholders across health, maternity, social care, and other sectors to support and drive service development, participating in various NHS East of England Perinatal Clinical Network activities, ensuring that key performance targets and national standards are met.
This is an opportunity to work within a specialist multi-disciplinary setting, which offers a wide range of MDT clinical assessments and treatments, specific specialist perinatal therapeutic individual and group interventions. We promote a strong service user-led participation culture as well as supporting partners and families.
The successful candidate will support individual staff with developing their performance in their clinical work, as well as supporting with safeguarding and quality assurance. This post requires a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently.
This post offers an opportunity to work as a senior member of the leadership team, working within our multi-disciplinary team (MDT) which includes psychology, social work, occupational therapy, parent-infant psychotherapists, nursery nurses, peer support workers, and other key disciplines.
