PLM Implementation Consultant Vacancy - South ManchesterWe are currently supporting our client in their search for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Implementation Consultant. This role will be instrumental in assisting clients with the configuration and implementation of PLM systems to meet their unique business needs. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand requirements, translate them into system configurations, and ensure seamless execution. This role requires strong organisational skills, confidence, effective communication, and project management capabilities. Occasional travel may be required.Key Responsibilities include:Client Engagement:Collaborate with clients to assess their PLM needs and business objectivesConduct detailed evaluations to identify specific PLM system configuration requirementsDevelop and implement PLM strategies tailored to client needsPLM Configuration:Customise and configure PLM software to align with client requirementsManage full-cycle implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetsWork with cross-functional teams to integrate PLM solutions into existing workflowsCommunication and Training:Conduct training sessions for clients and end-users on PLM system functionalitiesDevelop clear and concise user documentation to support independent system useProject Management:Oversee project timelines, tasks, and resource allocationCommunicate project progress, risks, and solutions to clients and internal teamsEnsure timely project completion within budget constraintsRequirements:Strong background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or experience with implementing large-scale, database-driven enterprise solutions such as PDM, MRP, or ERPPrior PLM experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but experience in implementing enterprise-wide systems is crucialExcellent organisational and project management skills, with familiarity in project management methodologies and toolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesWillingness to travel as needed for client engagementsLocation:This hybrid role is ideal for candidates based in South Manchester, though applicants from anywhere in the UK are encouraged to apply.
