Cherry Professional are working with a leading legal service provider with offices across the UK to recruit a dynamic and experienced Practice Support Manager, based in their Nottingham office. This is a permanent position offering a salary of up to £40,000, with the flexibility of hybrid working. This role is pivotal in ensuring the legal support team meets the demands of the firm and its clients by delivering a high-quality, client-focused service. The Practice Support Manager will oversee the day-to-day operational management of the practice and team assistants, working closely with the Head of Legal Support Services and fee earners to strategically design and deliver exceptional administrative support. Key Responsibilities: Manage individual performance of allocated support resources, including conducting regular progress meetings, appraisals, and probation reviews. Ensure smooth inductions for new starters, transfers, and maternity returns, with a focus on HR and client-specific policies. Act as a coach to develop the team to the highest standards, identifying training needs and supporting professional growth. Provide pastoral care and active management of team wellbeing. Resolve issues relating to work flow, resources, service delivery, and HR matters within the support team. Work closely with fee earners to understand client-specific requirements, SLAs, and KPIs. Oversee resource allocation to maintain service levels and balance workloads. Manage recruitment, headcount, and selection processes to ensure team alignment with business needs. Review and improve service provision, introducing innovations and maintaining high standards. Lead on departmental projects, ensuring objectives and benefits are achieved. Monitor performance through KPIs, SLAs, and management reports. Drive exceptional client service, process improvements, and quality standards across departments.
