Sales Advisor - Travel
Location: Outskirts of Swindon
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £23K-£25Kpa + commission
On target earnings: Year 1 £30,000 to £40,000, Year 2+ £41,000 - £60,000+
Job Purpose
As they continue to grow, our client is looking for a dynamic, highly driven and focused person who loves sales and can demonstrate their ability in achieving KPIs. In this role, there may be future opportunities to travel to one of their offices overseas if you are eager to learn and have the ability to sell the amazing holidays they provide to their customers. Sales is the first part of the customer journey; therefore, they are looking for an individual who has the required passion and skill to provide excellent service to their potential customers.
Typical Activities:
1. Service inbound sales calls and understand customers' needs, build rapport and offer expert holiday solutions.
2. Provide excellent service to all customers, adapting the approach taken for each call.
3. Create fantastic customer engagement, understand the customer's requirements, pitch and close the sale.
4. Offer customers alternative solutions if the original offering does not meet their requirements.
5. Meet or exceed company KPIs.
6. Make accurate cost calculations and provide customers with quotations quickly and efficiently.
7. Produce accurate administration work to complete the booking process.
8. Work proactively as part of a small team within a large department of Sales Advisors (circa 30+ people), bringing energy and drive to a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
9. Work effectively with other departments to ensure understanding of products.
Skill Set Required:
Essential:
1. Highly motivated sales person who is results-oriented, driven to accomplish goals, and has a high degree of self-motivation.
2. Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations.
3. Proven sales history with the ability to hit company KPIs.
4. The ability to identify with customers, establish rapport, and build relationships.
5. The ability to adapt style to provide the customer with a personalized service.
6. Must be able to organize themselves in order to achieve targets/KPIs.
7. Takes responsibility for actions and results.
8. Has the ability to thrive under pressure.
9. Can demonstrate resilience and focus on opportunities, high quality, and business profit.
10. Has excellent communication and listening skills.
11. Can be flexible in approach and able to work weekends, evenings, and extended or additional hours to suit business requirements.
12. Great attention to detail.
13. Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and the internet.
Desirable:
1. Travel industry experience would be beneficial but not essential. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
2. Must have experience of call centre sales or travel sales.

This role will be working 5 days out of the 7 including weekends. You will be working on a rotating basis of 8:45am-5:30pm, 10:45am-7pm, and 11:45am-8pm.
