This role is for a proactive, ambitious SEO Lead, which sits within the Audience Development team, focusing on discovering and consolidating audiences through Google and its platforms across all LADbible Group brands. Reporting into the Head of Audience Development and working in collaboration with Editors, Heads of Content and Technology across the group, it's an opportunity to continue growing LBG’s web audience through referrers both new and established, in particular Google and its various platforms, serving as a driving force behind solidifying LBG’s brands beyond social media platforms. As an SEO Lead, you will be responsible for: Designing and implementing content search strategy for all six LBG brands Managing and championing the group’s search strategy alongside Editors and Heads of Content Run day-to-day content operation, capitalising on live trends and what is popular with our existing audiences, as well as focusing on relevant areas of expertise Providing up-to-date guidance and commissioning stories which will drive search-based audience Researching long-term search opportunities and forward planning Proactive management of evergreen and future content opportunities, building authority with robust plans in underserved areas Working with senior leaders to ensure content is being produced and optimised to continue search audience growth Serving as bridge to other parts of the business to ensure technical best practice around search optimisation is adhered to and consistently maintained to the highest standard Be at the forefront of the SEO community, understanding upcoming changes and adapting accordingly Our ideal candidate will have the following experience: Expert in the SEO field with full understanding of both editorial and technical requirements to create and optimise content to be read by a search audience Proficient with search trend consoles with knowledge and adaptability to third-party providers desirable Strong manager and communicator who can work collaboratively but also manage team within insolation with strict KPI focus Experience running SEO operations at a national level Independent thinker with track record of successful experimentation and growth in search sphere Proven record and experience in adaptation to algorithm changes over course of Google lifespan Apply now and become part of our fun and energetic team At LADbible Group we've rolled out blended working which means the majority of departments across the business (including London, Manchester and International offices) work in the office 3 days per week.
