An opportunity has arisen for a candidate who will be able to demonstrate a positive outlook, friendly nature, ability to work as part of team and independently. This role supports a large team of Physiotherapists who cover a range of outpatient services.
Post - 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
This role will be based at the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital.
• Effective liaison with the relevant wards and departments within the hospital and with patients and other health care providers
• Accuracy required inputting and updating patient information.
• Reception duties as required.
• To provide clinic support to Physiotherapists and other Management staff who may reasonably request support with other duties.
• Deal with queries in a timely manner via the telephone or face to face, escalate as appropriate.
• Contact patients to offer them an outpatient appointment.
• Process clinic outcome forms to allow for the outcome of the consultation to be recorded.
• An understanding of the 18-week RTT process and a knowledge of the Trust Patient Access Policy and an agreement to adhered to these policies according to National Trust Guidelines.
• Working to strict Trust and Government policies and Waiting list management and 18 weeks guideline
• To provide general clerical support as and when required in support of the delivery of the service over both sites.
