This is an exciting new opportunity supporting the work of the City Psychology Service and SEND Services to deliver key workstreams.
Leicester City is working with the DfE Change Programme on the Advice and Information workstream, to test different pathways of collecting both psychological advice and educational advice as part of the initial statutory assessment known as the Education, Health, Care Needs Assessment pathway. This work will be reported to the SEND & Alternative Provision Change Programme steering group and the Department for Education to ensure efficiencies and effective, robust business and administrative support for Senior Practitioners and Leaders.
This is a part-time, fixed term post until December 2025, working 15 hours per week. Days of work are likely to be on Monday and Tuesday. Based in Leicester City SEND Support Service City Psychology Service.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll play a key role in supporting the testing and learning of systems and processes for statutory work in SEND. Coordinating and administrating the transition of cases from the EHCNA panel to Professional advice writing, youll set up meetings, coordinate invitations, and attend meetings, taking minutes and completing pre and post panel admin. Youll manage and monitor spreadsheets and update IT systems such as the ONE System and Firm step applications.
