As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Job responsibilities
1. Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
2. Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
3. Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
4. Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
7. Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience
8. Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
9. Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (., Scripting, Python,
10. Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product
11. Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
12. 10 years of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration / engineering experience with strong troubleshooting skills
13. Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices.
14. Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies and have the operations skills to identify and mitigate difficult and complex technical problems
15. Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
16. Knowledge on Veritas/RHEL cluster, Block and object storage, Networking
17. Good knowledge in Splunk, Prometheus and Grafana
18. Understanding of Virtualization technologies
19. Experience with Capacity management, Resiliency and Business Continuity Planning and execution
20. Experience working on multiple service improvement programs and able to prioritize work loads
