Salary: £18.42 per hour, £38,313.60 per annum
Role Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to all allocated helpdesk requests of an electrical nature across the Sewell Facilities property portfolio, including general maintenance and repairs to building fabric and associated equipment. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will also work flexibly to meet the needs of the team and take part in the out of hours on-call rota system.

Key Responsibilities
Reactive and planned electrical maintenance
Responding to all allocated helpdesk requests for Sewell properties
General maintenance and repairs to building fabric and associated equipment as necessary
Liaise with and manage external contractors as an when appropriate to meet the needs of the business
Identification and reporting/repairing of defects and maintenance requirements within Sewell properties
Communicating information to the client, facilities officers and management as appropriate
Be a main key holder to Sewell properties, including responding to emergency call outs as part of the on-call rota system
Co-ordinate safe pedestrian access across all sites, especially during adverse weather conditions
Health & safety duties; ensuring that any property worked in or attended is operated in a safe and legally compliant manner at all times
Respond to emergency callouts a part of the on-call rota system.Requirements

Essential:
Full Driving License, valid in the UK
Recognised Level 3 qualification to BS7671 18th Edition
Possess a positive & professional attitude.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
Proactive approach towards both planned and reactive maintenance.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise with contractors.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks.
A positive approach to learning & development.
Possess a flexible outlook towards working hours (out of hours working will be required as part of the on-call callout rota system).
Strong knowledge of current health & safety practices.Desirable:
