PURPOSE OF ROLE
1. Act as a resource within corporate training and development function for offshore / onshore staff.
2. Maintain training databases and act as SME / Company superuser.
3. Provide administration support for corporate training programmes and company competency system.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Serve as point of contact for area superusers for all matters related to company training database (SkillsVX).
2. Work with different departments to provide data, reports, and advice on training-related items. Manually generating reoccurring reports is to be avoided and use of automated reports such as INSIGHT and PowerBI should be encouraged.
3. Action and close client and regulatory audits.
4. Assist in managing full lifecycle of company development programs, training matrix requirements, program delivery methods and evaluation.
5. Coach and advise onshore and offshore personnel with training, competency assurance program, e-learning and SkillsVX related items.
6. Assist in development and implementation of special Training & Development projects, as required. Provide support to management in evaluating target groups and working within projected timelines to reach goals.
7. Maintain open communication with Hemisphere teams to share knowledge and remain up-to-date on all current projects and initiatives.
8. Provide support in identifying potential areas for increased process efficiency and work with colleagues to develop and implement new processes.
9. Strive to maintain highest level of understanding and knowledge of laws and regulations to better support all functions of the company and goals.
10. Assist with keeping the Seadrill standard training matrix up to date and monitor alignment in competency & training system. Ensuring requirements on the training matrix are properly mapped in SkillsVX.
11. Work with Training & Competency Manager to map / audit required training in SkillsVX.
12. Perform testing as required via SkillsVX Test environment, work with vendors and IS and ensure RFC’s are complete before implementing changes in production.
13. Manage action tracker, course codes and interconnectivities for SkillsVX.
14. Manage periodic clean-up of database in collaboration with vendor and Areas.
15. Responsible for ensuring tickets are addressed in a timely manner.
16. Responsible for registering new feature requests with Petrofac.
17. Update user documentation as required.
18. Contribute to annual budget process.
19. Assist with the development of new e-learning courses, testing and roll out in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
20. Responsible for maintaining the e-learning course directory.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Familiarity with learning management systems and how they interface with other systems. i.e. Oracle, ISN and data warehouse for PowerBI.
2. Familiarity with Drilling, Technical and Marine equipment (preferable).
3. Familiarity with ISM and ISPS requirements and associated audits (preferable).
4. In depth understanding of SkillsVX, LBES and the paperless assessment app (preferable).
5. Excellent IT skills with proficiency with Excel, Word, Power BI, Outlook and other business communication tools.
