Position Statement
The role will work as part of the EMEA Pricing Team, reporting into RMCC Europe. Primary responsibilities will be centered around pricing linked to the offer shelf as displayed on brand website and third parties, GRO and new capabilities and innovations. The role will work closely with all departments within Commercial Services and will play an integral part in Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. Reporting to Director of EMEA Pricing, the Pricing Manager EMEA will work on projects including increasing pricing precision to changes in demand, implementing advanced pricing algorithms for inventory innovations, and leveraging technology to maximize hotel revenue performance.
Position Summary
The role will work with Global Pricing, Revenue Management, Analytics, Capabilities, Technology, and Commercial Services teams ensuring activity and business requirements align with EMEA’s strategic priorities with a focus on maximizing all possible opportunities and minimizing any risks.
Responsibilities:
1. Long-term Pricing Capabilities: represent EMEA business strategy and needs for developing and implementing new capabilities and enhancements to pricing solutions.
2. Short-term Pricing Performance: leveraging existing and new capabilities, facilitating smooth and successful implementation of pricing strategy, end-to-end, to drive incremental performance at Hilton’s portfolio of hotels.
3. Identifying Pricing Opportunities: Collaborate with cross-functional commercial teams, test and implement new pricing capabilities, and execute actions swiftly to drive value for Hilton’s hotels.
4. Risk Management and Communication: Manage risks and ensure alignment with EMEA priorities.
5. Analytics and Measurement: Partner with Hilton Analytics to measure performance results and drive adoption of pricing actions which can be used to share insightful data and suggested actions with key stakeholders.
6. Engage in frequent discussions to prioritize initiatives, identify, and escalate risks and dependencies, assess alternatives when appropriate, and provide key milestone updates. Integrate with other functions to ensure we exceed our customer’s, owner’s and shareholder expectations.
7. Project manage opportunities to test and implement new pricing capabilities.
8. In-region support: Represent EMEA for new projects/initiatives, develop, deploy and drive regional campaigns and promotions, and provide in-region pricing support.
9. Provide in-region support with ownership to resolve and/or escalate discrepancies to ensure compliance.
10. Deploy data led retail campaigns to positively impact EMEA performance.
11. As per the needs of the business may be required to attend meetings outside of regular working hours. Working hours will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate these requirements.

Preferred Criteria

1. Practical working experience in an area or corporate role relating to distribution or revenue management
2. Good people management skills proven in previous management position
3. Ability to introduce change effectively
