Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker - Fostering to work full time based in an Independent Fostering Agency, covering the West Midlands region.
The salary for this permanent job is up to £42,000.
Main Duties:
1. Experience of undertaking Form F Assessments.
2. Have an approach that is reflective and creative when working with our foster carers and young people to inspire them to reach their full potential.
3. Can manage your own caseload of up to 12 fostering families, giving support and guidance when necessary and help them to develop their skills.
4. Are committed to providing wrap-around support to our foster carers by participating in an out-of-hours on-call service.
5. Passionate and want to actively contribute to the growth and development of the Fostering service.
6. Experience and can demonstrate evidence of identifying the needs of young people.
7. A good knowledge of fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding issues.
8. Can make objective professional assessments of children and young people.
Requirements of this job:
1. Social Work Degree or equivalent (DipSW, CQSW, CSS).
2. Social Work England (SWE) Registration.
3. Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
4. Experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
