Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools
Are you looking for a new Teaching Assistant opportunity? Do you enjoy providing 1-2-1 and small group support? This nurturing primary school is looking to add a caring and supportive teaching assistant to the team to support children with additional learning needs. The school is wonderful, staff are friendly, and the leadership team are supportive. You will be joining an experienced team of Teaching Assistants and Learning Mentors in providing additional support for children with special educational needs.
Job Role:
1. Supporting a Key Stage 2 child on a 1-2-1 basis in the classroom.
2. Acting as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant.
3. Working closely with the class teachers to provide the right support.
4. Managing behaviours if required.
5. Understanding a range of special educational needs.
6. Providing consistency and care for children.
7. Making learning fun, engaging, and nurturing.
