Job Title: Year 6 Class Teacher (SEN Specialist)
Location: Hillingdon, London
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Year 6 students, ensuring all pupils, including those with SEN, achieve their full potential.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN, in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
* Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes the well-being of all students.
* Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide targeted interventions and support for students with SEN.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
* Proven experience teaching Year 6 students, with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
* Experience working with children with SEN and a good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
