Direct Commercial are an award-winning commercial motor insurer entering an exciting period of growth. We are looking for an Claims Administration Assistant based in or around Chelmsford to join our existing Claims team.

Duties:
Providing support to our claims team, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Claims department.
* Develop and maintain our filing system
* Recording and updating databases
* Projects such as gathering information by phone, letter or email
* Photocopying and scanning documents
* Manage Post and Emails
* To work closely with colleagues within the company to deliver consistently high levels of service
* To support and adhere to the company’s values and policies in a professional manner
Skills
* Computer literate (Experience with Microsoft Excel required)
* Excellent organisation
* Good verbal and written communication along with an excellent Telephone Manner
Required Experience:
1 year experience in an office environment
Maths and English Grades C (5) and above.
