Required Qualifications:
* In Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales or sales development, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in the relevant industry or sector, with a strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
* Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing high-performing sales teams.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
* Ability to develop and implement effective sales development strategies that align with business goals.
* Highly self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
* Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales processes and track performance.
* Familiarity with sales development tools and techniques, such as lead generation, cold calling, and email campaigns.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to understand and address the needs and concerns of team members and clients.
* Strong negotiation skills to close deals and manage client relationships.
* Ability to resolve conflicts and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
In This Role, You Will:
* Provide strong leadership to the sales development team, setting clear goals and expectations, and fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
* Develop and execute effective sales development strategies to generate qualified leads and drive pipeline growth.
* Continuously review and optimize sales development processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align sales development efforts with broader company goals and initiatives.
* Oversee the development and execution of lead generation campaigns, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads.
* Monitor key performance metrics and KPIs to track the success of sales development activities and identify areas for improvement.
* Identify training needs and opportunities for the sales development team and provide or arrange for relevant training and development programs.
* Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and support the sales process as needed.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
* Encourage and support a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the sales development team.
