GSL Education South Yorkshire presents an exciting opportunity to join vibrant schools in Sheffield (S11)as a Teacher of Physical Education (PE), where you will play a vital role in nurturing young talent and instilling a passion for sports and physical activity.
As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will inspire students to enhance their skills, promote teamwork, and boost overall fitness while delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum that transforms the way they view physical education!
Responsibilities of the PE Teacher:
* Create and teach fun PE lessons that follow the national curriculum.
* Adjust the lessons to fit the needs of students in different Key Stages.
* Give one-on-one and small group support to help all students do their best.
* Work together with other teachers to improve the PE program.
* Keep track of how students are doing and give feedback to help them improve.
Requirements of the PE Teacher:
* QTS or equivalent, such as PGCE or ECT
* A degree in Physical Education or Sports-related field.
* Strong sports experience, either through coaching or competitive sports involvement.
* Solid understanding of the PE curriculum with experience across various Key Stages.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A passion for physical education and a dedication to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle
* DBS on the Update Service required.
