Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our trauma and orthopaedic surgical wards in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
The ward specialises in both trauma and elective orthopaedic patients as well as receiving patients from the major trauma centre.
The successful candidate will be required to have an interest in the management and care of surgical trauma and elective orthopaedic patients with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
Staff will be required to be well organised and have good time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative with high standards.
There will be opportunities for internal development as the University Health Board has a dedicated training and development department offering a wide range of in-house courses. We also have close links with the University South Wales to support your ongoing professional development which you will be required to demonstrate as part of revalidation.
