Procurement Manager - Work Winning Support
Location: Dartford, Kent (Office Based)

With a blank canvass you will be instrumental in implementing procurement strategies, policies and processes. You will draw on your skills to enhance the way we win work and deliver a collaborative relationship with our Clients & Markets team.
You will supply market intel, cost advice and supply chain performance data to support our Clients & Markets team. Can you contribute to the management of the supply chain to create effective partnerships for our Clients & Markets team? Can you upskill others in knowledge and understanding of procurement activities and process? If the answer is yes, keep reading.
What do you need for the role?
1. Good Knowledge of sustainable procurement, business sustainable standards, supply chain members, processes and requirements during work winning and live project environments.
2. Good Knowledge base of Suppliers, Sub-Contractors and Services through robust and ethical Procurement processes.
3. Budgeting, to enable assistance with efficient and cost effective delivery.
4. Experience of Procurement quality management system (QMS) and tools to embed best practice, processes and procedures.
5. Providing internal and external Customer satisfaction and develop an understanding and in turn compliance with professional standards.
6. Procurement and commercial principles experience.
7. Ability to developing trusting and mutual working relationships.
8. Able to provide management information and reports.
9. Provide different procurement strategies tailored to the need.

Having MCIPS or a desire to work toward it would be an advantage, we are able to support this. Alternatively either a Diploma or Degree in business studies would be desirable.
Day to day you will be involved in sourcing and agreeing the supply chain, tendering activities, making recommendations for award and drafting contracts. The role is based out of our Dartford office and requires travel to projects and suppliers when required.
