Sheuchan Primary School is looking to fill a Learning Assistant - Pupil Equity Funding position until July 2025. This post is to assist the school in raising attainment through providing nurture, working 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional support needs, including learning needs, medical diagnoses, and social and emotional needs. They will follow the duties as outlined within the job description.
Qualifications required include Standard Grade Level 3 (or equivalent) in English and Maths, along with prior experience of working with children and young people.
This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment.
Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years will need to provide a police record check from the relevant authority if offered a position.
