If so, this could be the perfect role for you About the Role Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an outstanding SEMH school in Horsham that is seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on students who require additional behavioural and emotional support to succeed in their education. • Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday • Salary: £24,944 per annum • Location: Horsham Key Responsibilities ✔️ Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs ✔️ Managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation strategies and positive reinforcement ✔️ Supporting students in their academic, emotional, and social development ✔️ Building trusting relationships with students to promote engagement and confidence ✔️ Implementing behaviour support plans and working closely with teachers and SEN staff ✔️ Acting as a role model and mentor, encouraging resilience and self-regulation What We’re Looking For ✅ Experience working with young people with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or behavioural difficulties (desirable but not essential) ✅ A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour management ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills ✅ The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations ✅ A passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable students Why Join This SEMH School?
