(Monday-Friday: operational hours mostly 8-6pm or 10 – 8pm).
Salary : £65,000 - £75,000
About the role:
1. Your role as a Clinical Fellow/Specialty Registrar is vital to the fantastic work achieved by our colleagues, and you will provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit.
2. You will also be responsible for checking outpatient prescriptions and protocols and approving medication. You will establish great relationships with a large pool of outpatients, as well as work closely with world-renowned experts within the medical field.
3. Successful candidates will work within a team of oncology specialists to develop a personalised private patient treatment plan, tailored towards patient unique needs and diagnosis.
4. You will deliver an integrative approach to cancer care that supports patients physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the outpatients setting.
5. As the specialist doctor on shift you will be responsible for medically assess patients receiving chemotherapy treatment and manage any emergencies which may arise with the guidance of the consultant in charge.
This role is Monday-Friday, no night, no weekends, and no on-call.

6. This role is suitable for Registrar Level Doctors with Knowledge of managing complications/side-effect of immunotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapies
7. MBBS medical qualification
8. GMC registration and current licence to practice
9. MRCP (Preferred)
10. Evidence of Specialist training in Internal Medicine, specifically Oncology and Chemotherapy

11. For 40 hours full time contracts, 264 hours holiday each year (inclusive of bank holidays) increasing with service, with option to buy or sell leave to suit you. This is pro-rata for part time contracts.
