Fixed term until 31 st July 2026 Based at Chester Chester Medical School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Biomedical Science. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our growing programmes in Biomedical Science and Medical Science. Role and Responsibilities: Provide a supportive learning environment for students, helping them develop both graduate-level and subject-specific skills. Deliver teaching in areas such as cell biology, immunology, genetics, oncology, pathology, histopathology, and molecular biology. Contribute to independent and collaborative research activities, with opportunities to work with NHS partners and other health providers. Supervise research dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Qualifications: A good first degree in Biomedical Science or a related field. A Master’s level qualification is essential. PGCert in Higher Education or Fellowship of the HEA (or willingness to achieve this). Experience and Skills: Expertise to deliver lectures in Biomedical Science and related subjects. Previous teaching experience in higher education. Ability to collaborate with colleagues, lead module and programme development, and provide high-quality pastoral support to students. Why Join Us?
