ABOUT HOMEPROTECT
We founded Homeprotect on a simple principle – to provide protection to people underserved by the home insurance industry.
We’re experts at insuring people who want to build or buy a unique property, renovate, rent a home or leave it unoccupied. We can cover people who travel a lot, run a business from home or even collect rare treasures. We protect people who love living in a listed building, having a view of a river or sunbathing on a flat roof.
We can do this because our smart tech enables our customers to get an instant, online quote to cover a huge range of complex needs and our UK customer support teams are on hand to provide information and support when only a real person will do.
Our insurance has already empowered hundreds of thousands of people to protect their homes and the things they love. But we’re not content with being the leading provider of what’s called ‘non-standard’ insurance. We believe there’s no such thing as ‘standard’. We’re all unique and we all deserve home insurance designed with our individual needs in mind – something our combination of real people and smart tech enables us to do.
Our simple promise? Whoever you are and wherever you live, with Homeprotect we’ve got you covered.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK HERE
Our customers come from all walks of life and so do our people. We’re a small but perfectly formed team, made up of insurance industry specialists alongside a diverse mix of technologists, data scientists and customer and marketing champions from all sorts of industries and backgrounds. We all bring our individual expertise, an appetite for innovation and a shared ambition to empower people to protect their homes and the things that they love.
Working in a fast-paced environment where change happens regularly is how we do things. But we also recognise that you’ll do your best work when you have the right balance, and that’s why we have fully embraced hybrid working giving our teams the flexibility to choose the right location and working hours for them. We prefer to focus on the outputs of their work, not where they complete it. That said, there will be times when getting together in one location makes sense, but day-to-day, our teams have the freedom to decide where to work and we trust that they’ll make the right decision balancing the business needs and their own preferences.
Most companies think their culture is great, however at Homeprotect, we have the proof to back this up. We have been recognised externally as a Great Place to Work for the last five consecutive years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Homeprotect is growing fast, and we are investing in our Policy Administration System (PAS) – our core platform for managing policy lifecycles and storing all policy, policyholder, and coverage information.
We are seeking a PAS Platform Analyst who is naturally inquisitive, detail-oriented, and a critical thinker to support and enhance this platform as we undergo significant transformation. In this key role, you will work closely with our agile delivery and operational teams to ensure that the platform meets business needs, operates efficiently, and evolves to support future growth for both our customer base and change initiatives.
You will also analyse the PAS performance, troubleshoot issues (agent or platform), and identify opportunities for improvement, while ensuring that changes align with broader business goals. Your ability to understand complex problems, provide actionable insights & requirements, and communicate effectively across teams will be pivotal to the success of our PAS strategy.
This role is critical to enabling Homeprotect to establish a scalable, sustainable platform that will accelerate business growth, streamline operations, and meet both current and future product needs.
* Process Ownership – Take ownership of PAS platform-related agent processes and journeys. Ensure they are efficient, user-friendly, and support operational goals.
* Requirement Gathering & Prioritisation – Work with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise requirements for system enhancements, new features, and bug fixes. Ensure alignment with technical strategy and business priorities.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Act as the key interface between business teams, operational teams, and the agile delivery teams. Ensure that business needs are accurately translated into technical requirements.
* Problem Solving & Issue Resolution – Act as the second-line support for any PAS related issues. Investigate complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
* Platform Analysis & Improvement – Analyse PAS platform performance and agent feedback to identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
* Training & Documentation – Develop clear and concise training materials and documentation to support business teams and agents to use the PAS effectively.
* Data-Driven Insights – Define, track, and analyse PAS performance metrics and KPIs. Use insights to measure the impact of changes and recommend future development priorities.
Requirements
We would love to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Process Optimisation – Experience in improving business processes and user journeys to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
* Platform Analysis & Management – Proven experience in analysing and managing complex platforms, with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Business Alignment – Experience in aligning platform changes with broader business goals and operational priorities.
* Technical Understanding – Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
* Problem Solving & Critical Thinking – Ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
* Second-Line Support – Experience providing level 2 support for system issues, with a structured and analytical approach to resolution.
* Data-Driven Approach – Experience in defining and using data and KPIs to drive decisions and measure success.
* Communication & Stakeholder Management – Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
* Insurance or PAS Experience – Experience in insurance industries or PAS projects or migrations is a strong preference.
ABOUT YOU
