With a focus on quality, safety, and nurturing environments, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding care that supports children’s growth and development. Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Field Support Staff member to join our team. This key role will provide on-the-ground support across our 11 sites, ensuring quality standards are maintained and operational challenges, such as staff-to-child ratios, are effectively managed. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about childcare and early education who thrives in a fast-paced and varied environment. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance: Support nursery managers and teams to uphold the highest quality standards in care and education. Provide feedback and guidance to staff to enhance learning environments and daily practices. Ratio Support: Assist with staff coverage to ensure compliance with staff-to-child ratios at all sites. Step into rooms to support teams during peak times, absences, or emergencies. Operational Support: Work closely with managers to address immediate operational needs. Act as a liaison between nurseries and the central team, communicating challenges and solutions effectively. Training and Development: Mentor staff to improve practices and maintain consistency across all sites. Assist with the onboarding of new team members, ensuring they integrate smoothly into their roles. Health and Safety Compliance: Monitor and uphold all health and safety policies and procedures. Address any compliance issues proactively to maintain a safe and secure environment. What We’re Looking For: A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent. Experience in a senior childcare role, such as Deputy Manager, Manager, or Area Support. Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures. A proactive problem-solver who can adapt to different settings and challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
