Carbon60 is working alongside British Airways to recruit for an Aircraft Technician.
We are looking for candidates who hold a CAA 66 Cat A or Cat B1 licence.
The role will be based at Heathrow, working on the completion of maintenance tasks, rectification of defects including component changes within the scope of appropriate Authorisation as defined in British Airways Engineering Quality Procedures. The candidate shall issue a CRS or Sign-Off as applicable for maintenance carried out.
Skills/Qualifications
1. Applicant must hold a CAA 66 Cat A or Cat B1 licence.
2. Valid full UK driving licence (or equivalent).
3. Ability to hold airport restricted zone access (essential for Terminal based role).
4. Ability to hold an airside driving licence.
5. Successful applicants must attain either A3 or A4 type qualifications relevant to their work area.
6. Ability to hold Cat3 / HGV driving permit (desirable).
7. Ability to carry out aircraft headset functions.
Salary just over £52,500 per annum plus shift uplift.
Annual shift pay ranging from £4,450 to £9,850 dependent on your shift pattern.
A pension scheme with potential contributions of up to 16.5% (if you contribute 5% BA will contribute 11.5%).
