This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the experienced legal team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The postholder will be the administrative contact for the Legal Department, and be required to provide high quality and comprehensive administrative legal support to the team.
Main duties of the job
The Legal Services team falls within Corporate Development and works closely with colleagues across the trust to resolve legal issues and contribute to the governance structure. The main roles the team provides is, and matters you will assist on are:
• Advice and representation at inquests
• Input on clinical negligence and personal injury claims;
• Medico-legal advice; and
• Governance input on learning from claims and trends in the legal caseload.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The legal services department is offering a full-time role for a driven and motivated legal administrator. The role will involve assisting with the effective day to day running of the legal service, including with complex administrative matters and assisting all members of the department. 1. Previous work experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS
