Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Administrator to support our advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial planning services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Support: Assist financial advisers in preparing for client meetings, including the production of reports, financial plans, and recommendations.
2. Administration: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing client files and updating client records.
3. Sitting on client appointments with an adviser and taking key notes.
4. Communication: Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, answer queries, and provide updates on their financial plans.
Qualifications Required
1. Education: Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification would be preferred but relevant experience working as a financial administrator/paraplanner is more important.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a financial administrator or related role.
Key Skills
1. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
3. High attention to detail and organisational skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. IT Skills: Fully competent in desktop applications, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with FE Analytics preferred but not essential as training offered.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
