This position is available for an immediate start or for a September start, depending on availability. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering personalized education plans and providing tailored support to students with complex needs. You will work in a supportive, inclusive environment where each child receives the individualized attention and care they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with PMLD, SLD, and Autism. Create and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the specific needs of each student. Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them develop social, communication, and life skills. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to ensure the holistic development of each student. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and carers. Implement effective behavior management strategies, promoting positive outcomes for students. Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team, sharing best practices to continuously improve teaching and learning. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with students with PMLD, SLD, and Autism in an SEN setting. A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with complex needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Experience in creating and implementing IEPs and individualized learning plans. Knowledge of safeguarding and commitment to promoting the welfare of students.
