YMCA Milton Keynes is looking for a Housing Manager to lead our team.
You will manage and motivate the Housing Management team to empower young people to belong, contribute and thrive at YMCA Milton Keynes & Northamptonshire. You will provide exceptional service delivery that makes YMCA a trusted and great place to live for young people in the local community. You will provide person-centred support with key tasks to promote young people’s independence and build tenant satisfaction.
You and your team will work collaboratively with multiple teams, both internal and external, to monitor and manage key target areas including arrears, tenancy management, and occupancy levels. You will ensure your team is fully compliant in areas such as GDPR and Safeguarding alongside meeting the requirements of the Housing Ombudsman and other Housing Regulations.
This role is full-time, hours are worked primarily Monday to Friday including some evenings and occasional weekends with some on-call duties.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 CIH Qualification, experience of managing and motivating a team in a housing management setting, and experience of managing others to deliver support plans to meet the emotional needs of young people with complex needs.
