Title: Technology Consultant / Analyst
Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid)
Type: Contract (1 year with possible extension based on performance)
Security Clearance Required: BPSS, SC
Required Core Skills:
1. System Admin with key skills:
2. Storage: Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch
3. Operating Systems: VMWare and LINUX/RedHat.
4. Minimum years of experience: 4+ years
Detailed Job Description:
1. Monitoring components of Storage systems including volumes, LUNs, disk and logs.
2. Responsible for complete Incident, Change Management, Problem Management, and Capacity planning. Able to plan and execute Disaster recovery.
3. Backup management and health checks. Monitor backup jobs, schedules, and relevant logs to ensure successful backups.
4. Performance monitoring of the storage arrays through console.
5. Controller mirroring configuration status from console.
