Job Title Product Manager, Payments Job Description Hundreds of thousands of customers rely on Sage Intacct to manage their customer and vendor electronic payment process. As a Product Manager for Payments at Sage Intacct, you'll be responsible for helping extend the payment process in United States and global markets Sage Intacct operates in. You'll research, prioritize, design and help build Sage Intacct payment solution to serve both domestic and global customers. This is a hybrid role - three days per week in our Newcastle office. As a Product Manager for Payments, you have an ability to think strategically while also maintaining a close attention to product details. You also have the analytical mindset to understand complex electronic payments technologies and can gain the respect of colleagues in engineering and operations. You can interpret complex industry standards and can write detailed user stories and requirements. You will drive usability studies, customer research, and competitive product analysis. You have well-honed communications skills, and are comfortable presenting to product leaders, customers and technical staff. You will manage pre-release product user activities (beta, preview). You will coordinate cross-functional teams for product launch company readiness activities including internal and external training, marketing product launch. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: •Through market and user research, drive the roadmap for building out the customer payments and vendor payment solutions. •Collaborate with other product managers, engineering staff and other stakeholders to maintain the roadmap for payments-related products and features in each country. •Track payment industry trends, standards and competitive offerings in the global markets, as prioritized by senior management. Identify opportunities for new value-added and differentiated features in these markets. •Collaborate on strategy to drive the fastest time to revenue •Use available data and research to understand target customer's needs and current market's sweet spot •Prioritize features and other development projects in collaboration with product leadership to achieve business results •Write detailed user stories and requirement for payments-related features that are necessary for the engineering organization to implement new Intacct solutions. •Analyze user feedback and data to optimize the merchant and cardholder experience. •Lead /Go-to person for development progress and schedule, issue, and risk management for your product areas. •Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful launch of solutions through training, support and marketing efforts. •Collaborate with marketing, creating product messaging to the identified target markets to assist the marketing organization in the preparation of product data sheets, collateral and product related PR events. •Analyze Sage Intacct solution against key competitors to provide business process maps for Sage Intacct offerings, provide competitive analysis to the sales organization, and incorporate findings into the corporate product roadmap. Requirements: •Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) application or solution environment. •Solid understanding of the finance sector, with expertise in payment systems, user journeys, and emerging trends in payment methods. •Demonstrated success in leading and managing projects from inception to delivery, ensuring quality outcomes. •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of ideas and strategies across diverse audiences. •Strong leadership capabilities, with a talent for collaborating across cross-functional teams and aligning them toward shared goals. •Experience working with distributed and remote teams, fostering engagement and effective communication across locations. •A degree in computer science, accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent practical experience is equally valued Function Product Delivery Country United Kingdom Office Location Newcastle Work Place type Hybrid Advert Working at Sage means you're supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.
