About the Opportunity
The Repository Infrastructure Framework is engineering, design and construction framework being delivered on the Nuclear Waste Services Low Level Waste Repository site at Drigg in Cumbria.
The role is to project manage construction projects and tasks for the Repository Infrastructure Framework and subsequent frameworks at the Low Level Waste Repository.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility for the management and delivery of construction projects and tasks across the Contract Framework.
2. Developing and growing customer relationships.
3. Building relationships within Jacobs to deliver our capability as a service to our broader business and to enhance the capability of the delivery.
4. Ensuring flawless project execution, meeting or beating the delivery commitments made.
5. Maintaining the capability of the delivery team, identify and cover capability shortfalls.
6. Ensuring the requirements of the Health & Safety of Work act, CDM, Machineries Directive, and the COSHH regulations are understood and complied with
7. Producing the financial forecasts for the delivery area and ensuring that the forecasts are accurate and up to date.
8. Progressing a multi-disciplined approach with the appropriate resources including interface with business supporting functions.
9. Development with the client and JV partners of the project and portfolio strategies for best in class project delivery
10. Driving project performance in line with financial forecast and reporting project performance indicators as required.
11. Ensuring the incorporation of ‘best practice’ and LFE into the framework/project /task delivery
Here's What You'll Need:
12. Construction experience in a Nuclear environment
13. Familiar with working under NEC 4 contracts
14. Good working knowledge of CEMAR
15. Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical or business discipline
16. Good understanding of financial and commercial aspects of project management.
17. APM qualification or equivalent
