Job Title: IDVA Service Manager
Location: North London
Salary: £20-27 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Temporary role for 6 months
About Us:
We support and advocate for survivors of abuse through comprehensive outreach services.
Role Overview:
We seek a dedicated IDVA Service Manager to lead and oversee our IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advocate) Service, ensuring staff support, managing partnerships, and maintaining contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Line Management:
1. Induct, supervise, appraise, and train staff.
2. Organize training and ensure policy compliance.
3. Manage staff leave and performance.
Service Management:
4. Integrate IDVA services with other provisions.
5. Evaluate outcomes and maintain quality standards.
6. Monitor systems and market services.
7. Supervise casework files for quality and compliance.
8. Develop policies for SafeLives quality assurance.
Monitoring and Reporting:
9. Monitor client services per funder requirements.
10. Complete and submit reports on time.
11. Implement effective outcomes monitoring.
High-Risk Casework Management:
12. Supervise assessments using CAADA-DASH.
13. Ensure appropriate referrals and safeguarding.
14. Maintain compliance with safeguarding standards.
Partnership Management:
15. Attend meetings and manage partner relationships.
16. Maintain information sharing and monitoring systems.
17. Update key documents and protocols.
Organisational Duties:
18. Participate in office duties and supervision.
19. Provide casework cover as needed.
20. Maintain financial records and support service development.
Training and Publicity:
21. Produce promotional materials and develop marketing strategies.
22. Deliver training and arrange outreach events.
23. Write articles for relevant press.
General Responsibilities:
24. Deputise for the Director when needed.
25. Implement equal opportunities and safety policies.

27. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
28. Perform other duties as requested.
Person Specification:
29. Experience in managing personnel, projects, and budgets.
30. Knowledge of domestic violence advocacy and support.
31. Excellent communication, supervision, and organizational skills.
32. Ability to develop and deliver training.
33. Experience in partnership management.
