Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Key Account Manager, to be based in Warwick. Our client is Europe's leading photo printing company. This is an exciting opportunity to manage & develop a well-known, market leading account.
You will be required to nurture & grow relationships with our client's existing Key Accounts serving as the main point of contact, ensuring their needs are met & their expectations are exceeded. You will be responsible for leading & mentoring a team of 3 direct reports.
We are looking for an 'ideas' person, someone who is questioning & curious, a strategic thinker who can successfully mentor, coach & develop others. You will have previous experience of managing & developing large retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop & implement strategic account plans to maximise growth opportunities within existing Key Accounts.
* Build & maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within each Key Account.
* Understand the unique needs & challenges of each account & tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
* Act as a trusted advisor for the Photo category, providing insights & recommendations to help achieve our agreed business objectives.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance & production, to ensure alignment & support for Key Account initiatives.
* Monitor individual Key Account performance versus plan & identify areas for improvement or expansion.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, & competitor activities to identify new opportunities & potential threats.
* Prepare regular reports & updates for the Sales Director and the Management Team on account performance & strategic initiatives.
* Management of two Key Account Managers & the Sales Support Coordinator.
General Duties:
* Have a good understanding of our client's business operations, products & services, in order to prepare, plan & execute communications to existing Key Accounts.
* Attend events & exhibitions to network existing Key Account contacts.
* Reporting to stakeholders on Key Account progress.
* Negotiate contracts & pricing agreements with Key Accounts to drive revenue growth and profitability.
* Keep all stakeholders & departments informed & involved with existing Key Account initiatives.
* Continuously strive to enhance the overall customer experience & satisfaction.
* The Senior Key Account Manager is responsible for other such duties as specified by the Management team to enable the Company to fulfil its orders & obligations.
* Adherence to Company Rules & Regulations, including Health & Safety, as outlined in the Company Handbook & Health & Safety Manual.
* Maintaining the confidentiality of all knowledge & information appertaining to the Company, its customers & its employees.
You will have:
* Proven track record of successfully managing Key Accounts.
* Experience of managing & developing large retail accounts (essential).
* Strong interpersonal skills for building trust-based relationships.
* Positive attitude & initiative to exploit opportunities.
* Strategic & analytical thinking skills.
* Problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
* IT proficiency with Microsoft Office.
There will be occasional travel to Germany & other European locations.
