Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regulatory Transformation Manager to lead and drive regulatory transformation with Rubicon Bridge, creators of The Reg Tech Tool. This individual will play a pivotal role in the development of new functionalities and tools in the system, and maintenance of the existing system to ensure it is up-to-date with evolving laws and standards and also aligned with innovative industry trends.
The role involves managing the integration of manual regulatory processes with new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance across diverse markets for our clients.
This role will focus on the international expansion of our existing compliance software for food supplements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Transformation – Food Supplements: Lead on the international expansion of our existing compliance software for food supplements. This will involve research of regulatory requirements at a national and regional level in EU and some non-EU markets, briefing of these requirements to software development and data management teams for implementation, and subsequent validation of the software to ensure it operates as expected.
* Customer Engagement: There will be some customer engagement in this role. Review and respond to customer support requests (that impact regulatory) in a timely and professional manner. Follow all customer requests through to completion.
* Regulatory Process Optimisation: Review current regulatory practices, assess gaps, and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and compliance adherence. Implement and monitor the execution of regulatory best practices.
* Regulatory Intelligence: Stay updated on changing national and regional regulations governing the food supplement industry. Develop horizon scanning systems with internal or external teams. Ensure timely updates and implementation of changes in the system where required. Disseminate regulatory changes to customers and the wider business through newsletters and alerts.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and external consultants. Occasionally represent the company at regulatory forums and industry events.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on the food supplement industry. Regulatory experience in more than one category is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
* In-depth Knowledge: Strong understanding of the regulatory framework governing food supplements (e.g. national and EU regulation, guidance vs best practice vs mandatory requirements). Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyse complex regulatory issues, interpret regulations, and propose innovative customer-focused solutions.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
