An international banking group is recruiting for a newly created position for a transfer pricing specialist in their Group Tax team. Reporting into the Transfer Pricing Lead, you help to implement and solidify the transfer pricing framework - governance, processes, risk management - ensuring compliance with global tax regulations and that appropriate documentation is in place. You will also have the opportunity to work with senior members of the team on key projects and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation in compliance with local and international tax laws.
2. Provide analytical support for transfer pricing policies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams (tax, finance, legal) to develop and maintain transfer pricing models for intra-group transactions.
4. Conduct benchmarking analysis and review intercompany pricing arrangements.
5. Assist in managing local transfer pricing audits and assist in resolving any tax-related queries or disputes.
6. Support the development and implementation of transfer pricing strategies and risk management frameworks.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant transfer pricing regulations, guidelines, and market trends.
You will need a strong academic background and a minimum of 3 years' experience in transfer pricing, gained either in a professional services firm or another in-house tax team. There is no requirement for prior experience in the financial services sector, although this may of course be advantageous. You will need an understanding of transfer pricing rules, OECD guidelines, and international tax principles as well as experience in preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation and reports. You will need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
