The role is offered as a permanent contract, with a hybrid of office and home working. The purpose of your role is to manage a function to influence service improvements as a result of data analysis, structure a Governance Model, and manage statutory reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities will include the management of dashboard creation; assessing performance management data; compiling BI reports to inform strategic decision making; managing insight learning, horizon scanning & benchmarking; managing regulatory reporting, inspection, and oversight; managing risk; leading a team; and championing the use of data and performance reporting throughout the organisation. Requirements Previous experience in managing a Business Intelligence function Advanced knowledge of BI, Reporting, Performance Management, and Data Analysis within Social Housing, including legislative reporting requirements. Line management/Team leading of reports developers and/or data analysts - including staff motivation, and a track record of promoting innovation and a culture of continuous improvement. Strong stakeholder management experience Extensive Microsoft/Office 365 experience with particular specialism in PowerPoint & Excel to an advanced level. Experience in utilising commercial reporting and analytics tools, in particular Power BI. RDBMS systems and SQL or Oracle PL/SQL Scripting Experience of working with data from Social Housing Management systems (Such as Civica Cx, Aareon QL, NEC Housing, Capita One/OPENHousing, MRI Enterprise/Orchard, MIS ActiveH, or similar.
