Bar and Waiting Staff - Bristol Up to £11.60 an hour - Zero hours contract Location Bristol Full job description Front of house Bar and Waiting Staff required for hospitality/Christmas parties (please note we are looking for candidates who are available to work during the winter period, November/December as well as opportunities further into the cricket season) Reports to: General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Café Manager and Supervisors Job Purpose To provide excellent customer services at key consumer interaction points within the stadium for both Conference & Events and Match Day events. All roles will be assigned on an individual event basis and workers shall be required to have a flexible attitude towards carrying out varied duties. All workers will be expected to be confident in handling payment, engaging with customers and be committed to representing the brand to the highest level of professionalism. Key responsibilities & duties Providing a consistently outstanding service to all customers. Ensuring that all individual requirements are met. Serving meals in a plated banquet, buffet or carvery style of service. Setting up match day and non match day rooms within the Bristol Pavilion, Thatcher’s Cafe and match day bars. Setting up all bars on site and back of house areas ready for service and clearing down areas after use. Providing food and beverage service to guests throughout the event in accordance with non-match day/match day requirements. Assisting with restocking the bar area in accordance with stock rotation guidelines Anticipating customer needs whenever possible, enhancing the quality of service and in turn enhancing customer satisfaction. Ensuring all bar cellars and storage rooms are kept clean and organised. Ensuring all equipment is well maintained and stored away safely, any faults with equipment need to be reported to the Manager/ Supervisor on duty. General Fully cooperate with colleagues requiring assistance and to be flexible when assisting them in response to business needs. Always carry out responsibilities with due regard to the policies and procedures in particular health & safety, confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act. Act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Club’s premises. Report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Catering General Manger.
