Materials Planner - 12 Month Placement 2025
Summary
In the 12-month Materials Planner Placement, your team is responsible for accurate & efficient material throughput in support of the manufacturing cells, engineering & our external customers in both the civil & military markets.
Roles and Responsibilities
In the 12-month Materials Placement, strong emphasis is placed on ensuring world-class standards of material flow, storage, accuracy & quality. Working within a 13-week window, the Materials Placement student will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to solve problems and deliver on time to our customers. You will be integral in setting and executing the Production Plan in combination with effective material presentation & control.
Some of the responsibilities may include:
* Review material position and drive supply chain to deliver in line with customer requirements.
* Work closely with customer-facing teams to provide supply chain updates against customer orders.
* Daily use and transacting on business ERP system.
* Exposure to day-to-day supply chain management problems.
* Use problem-solving and teamwork skills to resolve issues.
* Improve, facilitate and drive MRB reviews to gather cross-functional support in reducing TaT (Turnaround Time) in resolving material issues.
* Use planning methods to execute in line with Production Plan.
You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will have the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.

Qualifications / Requirements
* Currently studying or recently achieved Business/STEM degrees at bachelor’s or master’s level.
* On course or achieved a 2:1 degree.
