Teaching Assistant - Primary - Slough - ASAP or April start

A lovely school in Slough is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their primary school, supporting children across KS1 and KS2. In this role, you will support children in a year group and class during lessons. As a Teaching Assistant, you will also get the opportunity to be trained in and run interventions in speech and language, spellings, and times tables for SEN children.

What the school is looking for in a Teaching Assistant:
1. Confident supporting children across different primary age groups (Year 1 - Year 6)
2. Passionate about supporting children in lessons
3. Professional or personal experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, or ADHD
4. Proactive and adaptable to meet the needs of the children
Key responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
1. Provide help to children in the lessons where they are struggling with a topic
2. Help the Teacher manage behaviour and distractions
3. Run interventions outside of the classroom in speech and language, spellings, and timetables
4. Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels valued and understood
5. Monitor progress in interventions to ensure children are learning and improving
