The Role
We are seeking expressions of interest for a proactive and experienced Remote Pilots. At the heart of our approach lies our “people-first” philosophy, where we prioritise the well-being and development of our team members.
In this role, you will be responsible for UAV flight operations, all while promoting our core values of people, safety, quality and innovation. Additionally, you will support the implementation of AUAV training and initiatives, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and compliance within our Company.
This role is open to be based at either our Aberdeen or Grangemouth location
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Remote Pilot, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with the CAA regulations and AUAV operational authority.
* Carry out UAV operations in accordance with mission flight plan.
* Maintaining the UAV’s in the field
* Completion of all relevant flight documentation.
* Data capture and field validation.
* Ensure all work scope are carried out in accordance with the method statements and job risk assessments.
* Stay up to date on all operational and safety procedures.
* Support the Senior Remote Pilot & Chief Remote Pilot in their roles.
* Comply with other duties and assignments as determined by the Operations team.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following:
* UK remote pilot licence. A2CoFC / GVC.
* ASME Plant Inspector 1 (desirable).
* BOSIET
* MIST
* OGUK Offshore Medical
Experiences
The successful candidate will have the following:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
* Minimum 2 Years’ UAV experience.
* Minimum 1 years’ Oil & Gas experience.
* Minimum 1 Years’ Visual Inspection experience (desirable)
* Minimum 1 years’ Surveying/photogrammetry experience (desirable).
* Minimum 1 years’ Renewable Energy experience (desirable).
* Experience in computer-based technology and commercially available reporting software.
* A good knowledge of Client/HSE requirements for NDT inspection, procedures, risk assessments, and COSHH.
Technical Knowledge
* Good knowledge of UAV Operations and procedures.
* Experience in drone data capture including the DJI fleet.
* Experience in data capture for 3D photogrammetry.
* Experience in terrestrial laser scanning.
* Use of the Elios and DI Scout UAV for internal inspections.
* Qualifications in asset inspection.
