We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our renowned education settings.
The school sits on a 60-acre rural campus in the picturesque Kent countryside, providing an ideal setting for both academic and extracurricular activities. Serving approximately 366 students including both day students and boarders and staff and includes not only a breakfast, lunch and supper service but also an extensive hospitality service.
As the position involves working weekendyou will be entitled to an enhanced rate of £ per hour. For midweek hours you will earn an hourly rate of £

As a Chef de Partie you will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavourful dishes that nourish both body and mind
As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm.
13. Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet the company's standards and client expectations.
14. Assist in menu planning and development, taking into consideration dietary restrictions, nutritional guidelines, and seasonal ingredients.
15. Oversee stock control and ordering to maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing waste.
16. Collaborate with the catering team to execute special events, themed dinners, and other culinary initiatives.
17. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, always following health and safety regulations.
18. Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and new ingredients to continuously enhance the menu offerings and overall dining experience.
19. Foster a positive working environment by demonstrating leadership qualities, effective communication, and teamwork.
Qualifications
20. Previous experience working in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution preferred.
21. Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
22. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
23. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
24. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
25. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
