My Homecare Herts, Beds & Bucks are currently seeking a Field Support Supervisor to join our team. We have grown a fantastic reputation from building good relationships with our clients, staff, CQC, and local authorities. Our success is due to our focus on people - both our clients and our staff. We are looking for an experienced Care Supervisor who wants to make a difference, to join our dynamic care team. We have clients in several areas including Luton, Dunstable, Harpenden, and surrounding areas. The role holder will report directly to the Registered Manager and be responsible for the ongoing support of field-based care workers. Plus ensuring that client/service user requirements are met while maintaining compliance of care standards in accordance with CQC fundamental standards and local authority policies and procedures.
Main tasks will include (but are not limited to)
Pre-join and onboarding process for carers and clients
Absence and performance management in line with company policy
Development and improvement of systems, facilities, staff, and all communications with existing and future clients
Ensure all Company policies and procedures are kept up to date
Good Documentation Practice skills: logging and dealing with the complaints / incident / accident process and maintaining contact with the complainant at all stages of the process
Provide care cover as required (in emergencies)
Oversee the client and staff regular review and feedback process
Ensure all client and staff files are compliant with CQC fundamental standards
Provide support to office colleagues, supervisors and senior managers
Liaising with Key Care professionals as required
Create and maintain accurate records
Assist with running out of hours mobile on a rota basis
Line manage Field Care Staff
Deputise for Registered Manager in their absence
Desirable Experience:
Identifying problems and prioritising the actions necessary to solve them.
Identify where improvements could be made to improve the efficiency of the office
Good all round communicator
Self-starter - ability to work on own initiative, without waiting for direction
Demonstrate the desire to become part of the team
Desire to learn about the business and present a high standard of accuracy, time management and professional conduct at all times whether to external partners, clients or colleagues
Reliable and Trustworthy; always in post and available when expected to be, agreeable to working/availability outside contracted hours occasionally if necessary
Maintaining absolute confidentiality of all information
